6 week Update

Well, after a bit of a struggle getting Miranda used to putting herself to sleep (mostly because we cuddled her to sleep for the first couple of weeks) she seems to be going down nice and easy! We highly recommend the 'Baby Whisperer' book - it's full of great info.

It's amazing really one minute (or hour) she won't settle or sleep and then you go to wake her up and a bomb wouldn't wake her. Babies eh - they're contradictory little things.

She is such a sweet little thing and during play time she's discovered a few new noises which is always fun to hear. We reckon she is trying to say 'Hello' already - parents are cute too aren't they! Most people seem to be saying that she looks like her dad, but we think she just looks like herself and not really much like either of us. She seems to like a good fart like her dad though!

We got our friend the photographer to take some photos of us all last week but we'll have to wait a few weeks to get them back. Poor little Miranda had a fair bit of milk rash though so she might not like the way she looks. And of course it cleared up the very next day. Perhaps she was nervous.
